Vrutti Darshi

Career Guidance Awareness for students

The Gross Enrollment Rate (GER) among higher education in Karnataka is 32%. To increase the GER in the state, career guidance awareness including information on 550+ careers is being made available to students in class 10th and 12th through the Yuva Kanaja website. It is aimed to equip students with this information to enable them to emerge as qualified job seekers and to create a bright future for themselves.

UNDP in partnership with SAP Labs has been implementing Project Code Unnati in Dakshina Kannada, Bengaluru Rural and Raichuru districts.

Through providing career guidance awareness the students will be aligned towards building their skill sets and avail better employment opportunities. With this goal multiple state departments have come together (Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Department of Education, Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Livelihoods) to create the Vrutti Darshi programm with support from UNDP.
