I am Jesina. I am worried about my grandson because his teachers identified him as a very hyperactive and attention deficit child. So, his parents have put pressure on him to study hard. Therefore, my grandson is very much disturbed by his teachers and parents. Both his parents are working. Once they leave house in the morning, they come back in the evening. I have spent more time with him than anyone else. I know he might be going through something. He is very good at studies except maths. He was very naughty and energetic. Because of teachers assessment and parents pressure, he has become dull and I am unable to help him.
In this situation, I visited Yuva Spandana Kendra. The people of Yuva Spandana Kendra insisted to bring my grandson to Yuva Spandana Kendra and we both went there. I shared everything with them. Yuva Samalochakas spoke to my grandson alone and found out that it is becoming very hard for him to understand concepts in English. Recently he had shifted from Kannada medium school to English medium school. Yuva Samalochaka made me understand that my grandson needs some time and patience in adjusting to a whole new language and learning method. He also suggested a English coaching center for my grandson. He made me aware of few behavioural techniques to help the child in learning English early.
I went home and discussed this with my son and daughter in law. They were supportive and admitted my grandson to the coaching center referred by Yuva Samalochaka. Now that he is slowly recovering and scoring well, pressure from parents has reduced. Also, teachers are giving a different feedback about my grandson than before. I hertily thank Yuva Spandana for guidance and help.
