I am Samarth. I am from Shivamogga district. Currently, I am living in Bangalore with my parents. Since childhood, I had a keen interest in sports. So, I participated in sports during the school days. I have competed at taluka and state level and won many prizes. Since I was very good in sports and physical strength, I dreamt of joining Indian Army. I had participated in military selection camps in our district as well.
I tried many times in clearing the exam, but I could not pass. This caused me to worry. Even though I am physically strong and have many awards, I did not get selected.
Yuva Spandana program was held in our college and I attended that program to see what it is about. When I got to know that they guide us with our problems, I thought of seeking guidance for my problem too. I visited Yuva Spandana Kendra and spoke to Yuva Samalochaka about my problems. While talking about my problem, Yuva Samalochaka asked me whether I have attended any training camps organised at district level to join the Indian army. I never heard about those training camps and never have I ever attended. My samalochaka gave me information about the fee training available. Though I had lost hope and my confidence was down, Yuva Spandana helped me in regaining my confidence. Currently I am undergoing training program and I am on the selection list as well. I have learnt to never loose confidence no matter what.
There is no doubt that the Yuva Spandana has helped me a lot in achieving what I dreamt of. I thank the entire team of Yuva Spandana for helping us in all the way possible.
