My name is Shravani and I am studying Bachelor of Science degree. My attention span had been decreased for several days. I was not able to pay attention to any of the lectures in my classroom. I used to get easily distracted with small noises, by someone entering the classroom etc. I forgot everything that was taught in the classroom resulting in scoring lesser marks in my exams. I started to develop fear of exams and did not know how to over come this fear.
I visited Yuva Spandana Kendra after listening to their program organised in my college. Yuva Samalochaka welcomed me and asked about my problem, my family, my hobbies, my mood etc. She made me understood that I was having difficulty in maintaining my mental health resulting in mental health related problem.
I had attention deficit problem. I did not practice any reading habits. Because of the changing classroom, classmates, timings, I was unable to focus on one thing. Yuva Samalochaka taught me reading habits, time management. I prepared a reading schedule and started practicing it on a daily basis. In the beginning it was difficult. I consulted Yuva Samalochaka again. They reassured that it would be difficult in the beginning. After some days, it will be a habit. They motivated me to go forward. Listening to them, I focused on my studies and I could see the difference within me. My fear about exams was decreasing. I had good scores in my exams.
I thank Yuva Spandana for being there and helping me in each step to come out of the dear. The guidance provided by Yuva Samalochaka has helped me in succeeding. Thank you.
